Brewer Science’s Cee X-Pro workstation with exhaust enclosure is a bridge for low- to medium-volume applications, delivering ultraclean performance and chemical containment.
The US-based firm says the sophisticated design complements its Cee precision spin coaters, bake plates, developers, and megasonic cleaners, as well as ZoneBond separation tools.
“Mini-environments provide the precision-controlled laboratory conditions that are critical for conducting cutting-edge research within the microelectronics, biomedical, and pharmaceutical industries,” said Justin Furse, Equipment Technology Strategist at Brewer Science. “The Cee X-Pro workstation gives customers a turnkey solution with exceptional particle control in a compact footprint design.”
The upper enclosures of the Cee X-Pro workstations can be designed for ductless or ducted exhaust for preventing vapour fumes from contaminating the ambient lab environment. The enclosure features a fan filter unit (FFU) for vertical laminar flow through a particle filter (ULPA, HEPA, or carbon amine filtration) of various efficiencies.
The hood is also compatible with optional programmable meters for detecting and logging (with X-series software) environmental conditions including air pressure, velocity, flow, humidity, and temperature stability and uniformity.
The X-series software will automatically monitor these conditions in real time and provide users with the ability to programme error limit warning thresholds.
