Cleanroom Design and Construction (CDC), a Stourbridge, UK-based business, has launched a facilities management division to service growth in demand for its maintenance services.

The new company will be known as CDC Facilities Management and will operate across all sectors including retail and commercial premises as well as CDC’s core industries of pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, aerospace and automotive.

Newly appointed Director Carl Isakovic will head the company, which has also made two new appointments – Sean Gallimore as Senior Maintenance Engineer and Justin Donoghue as Service and Maintenance Co-ordinator – to strengthen the team and expand their capabilities.

CDC Director Spiro Marcetic said: 'We have a strong customer base for our existing maintenance and service department with blue chip clients such as Canon UK and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The formation of the new company is a strategic development that will allow us to enhance the service we provide to existing clients and offer our skills and expertise to new clients.

'There is huge potential for growth in this area as companies gear up to take advantage of the improving economy. It is vital that facilities and systems are maintained in good working order to avoid costly down time and keep abreast of regulations.'

CDC Facilities Management will operate from the Midlands base servicing clients across the UK with national coverage for call-outs.
