FPS Food and Pharma Systems, an Italian designer and manufacturer of containment equipment tailor made to the specific needs of end users, offers a double chamber isolator for compartmentalisation of a blistering line, which achieves a containment level of OEB4 during the production of high active compounds in tablet or capsule form.
The isolator has a main working chamber for the inlet and transfer of the capsule and a secondary chamber for the blisters outlet after the thermoforming operation. Viewing panels with circular or oval glove ports guarantee the best visibility, the firm says, and two continuous liner connections allow the safe transfer of components.
Each chamber has an independent ventilation system, pressure is monitored by appropriate instrumentation, and a touch screen panel manages the control system.
