Bioquell’s Room Bio-Decontamination Service (RBDS) team has recently completed its first deployment in the Russian Federation. Bioquell was contracted by a multinational pharmaceutical company to commission a new-build aseptic production facility upon completion of construction. The client is a longstanding Bioquell customer, with the RBDS team bio-decontaminating each of its worldwide production facilities, with Russia being the latest facility to come online.

The RBDS equipment was shipped from the UK, and two RBDS engineers from the UK travelled to Russia to perform the service upgrading the facility from CNC (Controlled Not Classified) to Grade C level. A further deployment is planned to upgrade the sterile core to Grade B/A classification, after which, a regular bio-decontamination schedule is to be established once the facility enters production in 2016.

Chris Langley, RBDS Life Science Specialist said: 'The first RBDS deployment in Russia shows that Bioquell is truly a global provider of bio-decontamination solutions. Through our worldwide network of dealers and distributors Bioquell supports a multinational company’s production operations in six countries across four continents.'
