Healthmark Industries has launched an online game that teaches the basics of sonic cleaning
Healthmark Industries, which develops products for the sterilisation, decontamination, storage and security of surgical instruments and other medical devices, has launched an online game that teaches decontamination staff about the sonic cleaning process.
The Adobe Flash-based game, called "The Saga of SONIgal," is found at www.Crazy4Clean.com. In this game, participants help SONIgal remember her PPEs in a word-search level, swim through an ultrasonic tank to make sure it is degassed and cleaning verification tests are placed properly, along with other levels.
At the end of the game, participants can take a quiz and earn a CEU (Continuing Education Unit).
The company says games are a great way to learn, they simulate experiences that teach new skills while being entertaining.
