Automatically opens at the end of each 12-second handwash cycle

Meritech’s new CleanTech 2000SCA automated handwashing system with a controlled access option provides complete control of hand hygiene.

The US specialist in infection systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and FDA-inspected facilities says its CleanTech systems are clinically proven to remove 99.98% of pathogens from skin or gloved hands.

The CleanTech 2000SCA is a compact system that is versatile and easy to clean and maintain, the company says.

The 2000SCA turnstile entry is integrated with the CleanTech system and will automatically open at the end of each employee’s 12-second handwash cycle. When installed at each room entrance, QA and Production Managers, Inspectors, and Auditors can be confident that every person entering the facility is clean and safe, according to Meritech.

The company's automated handwashing systems also require less than half the time of a manual wash, use 75% less water and soap, and produce less discharge waste.
