Mystaire buys lab and forensic safety products division of Misonex
Will sell products under the Mystaire Misonix brand
Mystaire has bought the scientific laboratory fume hoods and forensic product division of Misonix for US$1.5m in cash plus a potential additional payment of up to an aggregate of $500,000 based upon 30% of net sales in excess of $2m for each of the next three years.
US-based Mystaire will manufacture the newly acquired product line, including ductless fume, laminar airflow and polymerase chain reaction workstations, under the Mystaire Misonix brand.
All manufacturing, sales, and support functions will be handled at the company’s corporate headquarters located in Creedmoor, NC.

The company produces containment solutions for general chemistry, molecular biology, pharmaceutical, forensic, and academic research and manufacturing.
