Mystaire, a US manufacturer of ductless fume hoods, has added the Aura Elite ductless fume hood to its portfolio which features the latest in microprocessor-based controls, including constant monitoring of fume hood face velocity, gas phase filtration saturation, temperature and humidity monitoring, as well as instantaneous filter to chemical application validation. Each of these features is displayed and controlled by the EverSafe III touch screen controller, which offers users finger-tip control. Like its predecessor, EverSafe II, this controller provides valuable user feedback and simple but reliable monitoring of all fume hood functions.
Energy conservation has become a focal point within many laboratories and the Aura Elite monitors fume hood performance constantly while logging the energy consumed for display to the end user. This feature allows laboratory staff more visibility to monitor and conserve energy when the hood is not in use.
