The international producer of die-cut components has added capacity to meet growing demand

Anticipating new business opportunities requiring ever-cleaner parts, Marian Shenzhen, has put into service a new Class 10,000 (ISO 7) cleanroom.

Part of Marian, Inc, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, US, a global provider of custom, die-cut, flexible component parts for the medical, electronics, and automotive industries, Marian Shenzhen opened in 2010 to support customers in Southern China and the surrounding areas.

Marian Shenzhen operates out of a 8,825m2 (95,000 ft2) facility and offers full manufacturing capabilities.

Opened in January, the new cleanroom covers 500 m2 (5,000 ft2), more than doubling the previous cleanroom space. It includes ISO 6 (Class 1000) laminar flow workstations.

Commenting on the opening of the new facility Dave Robinson, President of Marian Shenzhen said: 'Our primary market is demanding increasingly particle-free parts. Our investment in additional cleanroom space provides Marian Shenzhen the capabilities and added capacity to readily meet these needs and better serve our customers.'
