Gerflor, a supplier of flooring and wall protection for a range of industries, participated for the first time at the Lounges exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany earlier this month.
The company organised a conference and workshops about cleanroom flooring and wall protection in which visitors could benefit from a presentation about how to choose a floorcovering for a cleanroom according to various criteria.
They also had the opportunity to discover Gerflor's dedicated solutions for cleanrooms to enable the pharmaceutical, biotech, electronics, aerospace or automotive industries to control their environments.
With three workshops each day, Gerflor outlined the key technical points regarding the installation of wall protection and flooring for these industries, highlighting:
- Corners: the Gerflor Corner System, specifically for cleanroom corners, is an easy to clean, aesthetic and durable solution;
- Watertight system: a hot welding process ensures a watertight floor system and users can then employ Gerflor's innovative WCS system to check the watertightness once installation is finished;
- Wall protection: renovate and protect your walls easily thanks to smooth, chemical-resistant SPM Decoclean wall panels.
The conference and workshops attracted the interest of highly qualified people, including quality, facility, production managers and project engineers from major companies.
Gerflor says it is more than happy to return to Lounges next year.
