Rapid Disinfection Services (RDS), a UK supplier of UV disinfection systems, has launched a Contract Services Division that will deploy Tru-D SmartUVC total room ultra violet disinfection, when and where it is needed with minimal downtime, environmental impact and cost.
RDS says being able to hire the equipment will allow health practitioners to tackle viruses such as Norovirus and C. difficile head on to keep patients safe, while also making the cutting-edge UV technology more widely accessible.
Tru-D uses concentrated UV light technology which has been endorsed by a peer reviewed scientific study in the Journal of Hospital Infection and has been adopted by a number of university hospitals in the UK.
Tru-D rapid room disinfection of all exposed surfaces is quick, thorough and automated with a 3 to 4 log surface disinfection of pathogens in any space completed within minutes.
