Vaisala organises seminar on mapping and monitoring in GMP environments

Free event in Birmingham is aimed at professionals involved in measuring or monitoring in regulated life science environments


Vaisala's educational seminar series continues with a free seminar for life science industry professionals. Taking place in Birmingham, UK, on 23 May 2013, the seminar covers both fundamentals and details of mapping and monitoring for GMP regulated environments.

The seminar will cover topics such as the latest information on regulations and guidelines as well as risks related to mapping & monitoring. A practical workshop is included where participants go through a guided process of mapping a chamber and a warehouse.

The seminar should be attended by quality, validation, regulation, and assurance engineers, technicians and managers, metrologists and anyone involved in measuring or monitoring in regulated life science environments.

The key speaker is Paul Daniel, Vaisala's Senior Regulatory Compliance Expert, who has 15 years of validation experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He has extensive practical experience in a wide range of qualification projects, including process, cleaning, shipping, laboratory equipment, packaging, software, network and computer validation.

His specialities include applying the GMP principles found in 21 CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, and 820 as well as authoring and executing validation protocols (IQ and OQ) for pharmaceutical manufacturing and software validation with a risk-based approach drawn from GAMP guidelines.
