Visitors to Vaisala's stand (915) at the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) Congress, which took place on 28-30 September in Birmingham, UK, were able to take a video tour of the company's cleanroom located at its headquarters in Finland.

Vaisala carries out research, development and manufacturing of its sensor technologies in-house to ensure the best-in-class standard of its sensors; the cleanroom is a critical part of Vaisala's manufacturing facility.

Vaisala's data loggers and precision instruments are renowned for accurate and reliable monitoring of temperature, relative humidity, pressure and carbon dioxide. Examples of the equipment were on display at IBMS Birmingham.

Stefan Danyliw, Vaisala's Life Science Sales Manager, UK, said: 'For nearly 80 years, Vaisala has been a forerunner in innovating measurement in the environmental sciences. Our cleanroom facilities showcase eight decades of passion for measurement. Since we can't have everyone visit the factory, we created a video tour to invite people inside.'
