Waldmann's Tevisio magnifier supports the most demanding visual tasks

With its sleek, modern design, the new LED magnifier luminaire Tevisio from Waldmann offers exceptional flexibility through innovative mounting technology as well as high visual quality, supporting even the most demanding visual tasks.

Tevisio uses 48 multichip LEDs to produce the ultimate combination of efficiency and light quality, in addition to 40% energy savings when compared with conventional magnifier luminaires with the same high optical performance. At a lighting intensity of up to 6,000 lux, its power consumption is a mere 14 watts.

The LEDs have a colour temperature of 4,000K and offer a high colour rendering index of Ra = 90, which offers the best prerequisites for recognising colours and colour differences under the magnifying glass. Moreover, the reflector technology provides a very good light distribution that delivers homogeneous light, with soft transitions and no disturbing shadows, to the work area. Illumination can be dimmed to 10% and thus be precisely adjusted to the visual task at hand or to individual needs.

In addition, Tevisio’s Visualizer-Function permits separate switching of four light segments to three different light scenarios, bringing texture-emphasising effects that make it easy to detect even the tiniest faults, such as cracks or differences in the surface texture.

The magnifying glass, with a total field of view 153mm, allows the use of both eyes to look through the lens without distortion, which contributes to the well-being of the employees and thus to better work results. The 3.5 diopter lens yields an approximately twofold magnification and, with the optional 8 diopter add-on lens, a nearly fourfold magnification can be achieved, making the new magnifier luminaire from Waldmann suitable for even the finest work.

Tevisio is extremely robust and offers a long service life of up to 50,000 hours, reducing maintenance and downtime costs considerably. The high-performance plastic used, GRIVORY GVX, is a glass fibre-reinforced material and thus also extremely tough, while the completely enclosed tubing and joints will give wear-free use up to 20,000 movement cycles.

The mounting arm system is available in two different lengths and can be adjusted to virtually any position via six rotation axes and these can also be locked if necessary. Even the 3D ball joint can be swivelled 90° degrees in all directions.
