AES Clean Technology has introduced Faciliflex Module, a new concept in designing cleanrooms for the production of lifesaving therapeutics.

Cleanroom design becomes as simple as mixing and matching separate pre-designed processing room configurations to create the most efficient, custom facility – with each processing room module designed to connect together and create a fully integrated, climate-controlled cleanroom.

Faciliflex Module reduces client risks to production, design-build timelines, and escalating costs.

Each Faciliflex Module comes with a standardised cleanroom "baseblock," with fully integrated processing modules that can be rearranged and reconfigured to meet the unique needs of every life sciences client. Clients can pick-and-choose multiple units that meet their specific process requirements, from cell culture suites to packaging; from pre-designed units to specialised suites.

As with all AES Clean Technology cleanrooms, each Faciliflex Module is guaranteed to meet both federal and industry standards.

Josh Russell VP of Sales & Marketing, at AES Clean Technology, said: "Faciliflex Module is our latest innovation to get your product to market faster while reducing risk, whether you are biotech start-up or established pharmaceutical company."

Recently, AES released its Faciliflex Express offering, which are standardised, pre-designed cleanrooms in 5,000, 10,000 and 30,000 sqft units that can be built, packaged, delivered and installed on-site in as little as 6 months.

Faciliflex Module takes that concept further, with individual plug-and-play cleanroom processing suites that connect to a standardised baseblock that allows clients to arrange everything they need to build a cleanroom space precisely configured to their exact needs.

The AES modular design allows for quick manufacturing, shipping and installation, where each Faciliflex Module is fitted on-site and easily connected to utilities.

The Faciliflex Module concept can bring controlled HVAC environments to client's new or existing manufacturing space and includes the often overlooked manufacturing necessities such as storage, hallways, and even janitorial spaces.

More importantly, AES technology can make for faster, more reliable cleanroom spaces for biological manufacturing applications including:

  • Gene therapy
  • Allogeneic
  • Autologous
  • Viral Vectors
  • Peptides
  • Oligonucleotides
  • Manufacturing filler and related substances
  • mAbs Monoclonal Antibodies
  • ADC/Potent Compounds
  • Fill/Finish (Drug Product)
  • Drug Substance
  • Antibody drug conjugates / Potent Compounds
