First multi-deck food display cases and reach-ins to feature Microban 3G antimicrobial technologies
Microban International, a leader in built-in antimicrobial product protection, and the Hussmann Corporation, a leading manufacturer of refrigeration systems and food merchandising cases, have partnered to offer the industry's first multi-deck food display cases and reach-ins featuring Microban 3G Silver and Zinc antimicrobial technologies.
Even after normal cleaning, microbes can quickly multiply on unprotected surfaces. Built into key shopper touch points, the combination of these Microban technologies will reduce the growth of bacteria that can cause stains and odours, providing cleaner cases in the refrigerated aisles.
Hussmann shelving on multi-deck display cases is now infused with Microban 3G Silver antimicrobial protection during manufacturing, helping to keep meat, produce and dairy cases cleaner and fresher between cleanings. Additionally, the door handles on Hussmann reach-in cases and walk-in cooler doors now feature Microban zinc-based antimicrobial protection to fight stain and odour-causing bacteria on one of the most commonly touched areas within supermarkets.
