Ardmac honours subcontractors for 125,000 hours of safety on site
The specialist construction contractor presented awards to recognise professionalism of contractors during work on the site of Tech Group's new extension
In achieving 125,000 hours worked both accident and incident free, Ardmac recently held an award presentation at Tech Group Europe, Ltd – West's contract manufacturing solutions provider – to mark this achievement.
Part of West Pharmaceutical Services, The Tech Group is a process driven, global contract manufacturer of pharmaceutical and medical devices and diagnostics.
With eight locations in North America and Europe, The Tech Group is focused on serving the needs of healthcare companies by providing a single-sourced solution from product conceptualisation and rapid prototyping through high-volume manufacturing and final packaging.
Tech Group Europe has steadily increased its footprint in Ireland and is currently building a 60,000 ft2 expansion.
'We appreciate all the subcontractors and trades in close co-ordination with The Tech Group, that helped reach this important milestone through continued implementation and commitment to the Ardmac Site Safety Programmes,' commented Gerry Shearman, Contracts and Design Manager for Ardmac.

Ardmac and Tech Group Europe presented "Safety First" awards to project stakeholders and subcontractors for their consummate professionalism and dedication to the management of their team(s) and the project work schedule.
