Automatic sampling system for the food industry meets EHEDG Guidelines

The system allows consistent and accurate sampling and can be cleaned rapidly to prevent contamination of product flow or samples

Dinnissen Process Technology has developed an automatic sampling system specifically for companies in the food industry that want to organise the process of taking samples efficiently, accurately and reliably. The system complies with the current criteria of the ATEX and EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) and can be used as an automatic sampling system for incoming, in-process or outgoing product flows.

Companies in the food industry both want and have to comply with increasingly strict requirements in terms of food safety and quality. Microbiological or quality samples of incoming ingredients, products in preparation and outgoing products are therefore fundamental to the process. The added value of the samples also increases if they can be taken consistently and accurately. This need has prompted Dinnissen Process Technology to develop an automatic sampling system, which complies with all these requirements.

The system can be used in continuous batch production processes where dry powders, granules or granulates form the basic product mass. After determining the exact frequency, volume and weight required for the sample, the sampling system does its job reliably and consistently.

The samples are caught in a sample bag or laboratory beaker placed in a secure, quick-release fitting. They can be removed from the fitting in just seconds. The sampling unit itself can also be removed rapidly and simply for cleaning by releasing a tri-clamp coupling.

The sampling system from offers a capacity of 25 to 1000 g per sample.
