UK thermoforming specialist Belpac, based in Wombourne in the West Midlands, has secured a three-year contract to supply thermoformed products to the healthcare services provider Rocialle Inhealth.

The contract, which is worth in excess of £1m, comprises clampacks and trays for medical and theatre procedure packs.

Belpac has been designing and producing packaging for a wide range of industries for more than 30 years and has now achieved the BRC/IOP accreditation which allows food and medical packaging to be manufactured in a clean environment. To meet the stringent hygiene standards needed for the award Belpac has developed a “high care” production area where the packaging can be processed under strictly controlled conditions.

“The medical sector is a new market area for us and one that we have been keen to break into for some time”, said managing director Ian Blunt. “But I am glad to say that our hard work and investment in both facilities and staff has paid off – we are delighted to be working with Rocialle Inhealth”.

A market leading supplier of clinical solutions to the NHS and a division of the Inhealth Group, Rocialle Inhealth, supplies custom procedure trays, medical consumables and instruments to hospitals throughout the UK.
