Terra Universal, a US supplier of equipment for cleanrooms and controlled-environments, has announced a new, cleaner design of its BioSafe glove dispensers. The easy-to-clean back-mounted dispensers are designed to hinder microbial growth and minimise the accumulation of particles. They are manufactured in aseptic electropolished stainless steel or polypropylene which stand up to the rigours of common cleaning agents.
The dispenser is a versatile, ergonomic storage solution for lab supplies or materials of many sizes, including gloves, hairnets, shoe covers, face masks and beard covers, glove liners and finger cots. It has a curved base with cut-away seams, eliminating crevices that trap unwanted particle build-up and are hard to clean.
The sloped dispenser top, clean hinge design and covered mounting slots also assist in keeping dust and other contaminants from accumulating.
For space efficiency and proper organisation, these one- to four-chamber cleanroom dispensers can be mounted on a gowning bench, workstation or waste receptacle.
