How-to video guides aim to help cleanroom users everywhere discover best practice methods to control contamination

Cleanroom consumables and equipment specialist Cleanroomshop.com has released a collection of video tutorials to share its expertise in areas such as cleanroom gowning.

Cleanroomshop.com is the consumables division of modular cleanroom experts Connect 2 Cleanrooms. Together, these two enterprises have been adding value to their service by sharing the knowledge of their cleanroom professionals with clients at their extremely popular free Open Days and bespoke cleanroom training programmes.

By creating these how-to video guides, Cleanroomshop.com is reaching out to help cleanroom users everywhere to discover best practice methods to control contamination.

The videos feature real members of the Cleanroomshop.com team demonstrating common cleanroom procedures from a best practice perspective. Short and informative with voiceovers and on-screen prompts, these guides are easy to digest and will allow cleanroom users to inform themselves on a range of topics that will help them in day-to-day working life.

At www.cleanroomshop.com there are videos on how to gown correctly, how to apply cleanroom gloves (sterile and non-sterile versions) and how to remove a tacky mat layer safely and without transfer of contamination. They are also available on the Connect 2 Cleanrooms YouTube channel.

There is also a series of three videos on hazard perception, which are for use as training aids to encourage cleanroom operatives to accept their role in minimising the generation of particles.

The team at Cleanroomshop.com is currently gathering information from clients on what cleanroom challenges they face and is working on the next set of videos, which will be launched soon.

Watch the current videos online at www.cleanroomshop.com and subscribe to Connect 2 Cleanrooms’ YouTube channel to ensure you don’t miss any future launches.
