Nova Laboratories Limited is involved in the development, manufacture and testing of novel pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device products.
The company can demonstrate particular expertise in the field of aseptic processing specifically applied to clinical trial manufacturing, pharmaceutical compounding, live biologics and spray drying.
Due to a reorganisation within Nova, a vacancy has arisen for the post of Head of Sterile Manufacturing. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the post holder will be responsible for leading a diverse range of production activities including clinical trials, sterile pharmaceutical compounding and live biologics manufacturing operations as well as helping to expand the company’s innovative sterile spray drying and stabilization technologies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing, but Nova will also consider suitably qualified candidates who can demonstrate considerable production experience in closely related fields.
An essential requirement for the post will be the ability to demonstrate effective man management skills with the objective of delivering a programme of continuous improvement from the manufacturing team. This is definitely a “hands on” role and the successful applicant will be expected to lead from the front, and their success will be judged on their delivery of objectives.
Head of Sterile Manufacturing will be an important member of the senior management team, and will be expected to contribute to the successful implementation of the company’s growth strategy, as well as playing a major role in the extensive customer interface which the job demands.
