First Pharmtech Tutor scheduled for Moscow in November

Published: 2-Aug-2012

Joint project organised by the Yaroslavl Government and Pharmtech

Pharmtech Tutor, a joint project organised by the Yaroslavl Regional Government and Pharmtech, will take place for the first time during the Pharmtech exhibition, held in Moscow from 26–29 November.

Students from higher education institutions specialising in pharmaceuticals will undergo mini-work placements with some of the leading international companies exhibiting at the show. The students will be on the job during the exhibition and its set-up period, and the placement will give them practical experience of working with the equipment, technology and production of their host companies. Following the exhibition, each student will deliver a presentation on the results of the event to their home institution.

The Yaroslavl Regional Government is playing an active role in the Pharmtech Tutor programme. The region’s achievements in creating a skilled labour pool for the industry have earned it a federal grant for personnel training projects and to ensure future pharmaceutical development.

Both the Yaroslavl authorities and the organisers of Pharmtech see this partnership as a long-term project and are intending to continue it at future Pharmatech exhibitions.
