Develops treated bag filter for HVAC systems

As part of its integrated approach to controlling airborne molecular contamination, German company M+W Zander, part of the Jenoptik Group, is developing a treated bag filter specifically for HVAC systems, with high requirements for control of microbial contamination and IAQ.

The TFM-F9 bag filter is made from M+W Zander's impregnated synthetic fibre media, which resists shedding and inhibits bacterial and fungal growth throughout its lifetime. Designed with eight pockets for excellent dust holding capacity, removal classes of F5 to F9 are available. The TFM-F9 is expected to come onto the market in October.
