ONFAB appoints new Director of Engineering

Emmanuel Odiete, CEng Fellow IMechE, will drive innovation in product design and lead mentorship of young engineers

Flexible containment specialist ONFAB, part of the Envair Technology group, has appointed Emmanuel Odiete as its new Director of Engineering.

Odiete will lead on innovation in engineering design and will work closely with the sales team to ensure that the company’s bespoke flexible containment solutions are meeting the needs of customers. He will also play a vital role in mentoring ONFAB’s younger engineers, ensuring they gain the skills they need to progress in their careers.

Odiete, who is also a fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, has worked in a number of industries during his career – including oil and gas and automotive. He joined ONFAB in 2018 and previously held the role of Head of Engineering and Quality.

Odiete said: “My aim is to continually push the boundaries of innovation, to maintain our reputation for engineering excellence. Our priority is to always provide best-in-class flexible containment solutions for our customers.

Odiete continued: “I’m also excited by the opportunity my new role gives me to focus on our people, working with younger members of the team to assist them with their personal development. I hope I can draw on the experience I’ve amassed over the years to inspire the next generation.”
