Microorganisms can lead to staining, hygiene problems, and material fatigue on artificial surfaces

Sanitized, a specialist in hygiene function and material protection for plastics, has expanded its Broadtec product range with a water-based product called PL 19-30. The product is designed to offer protection against bacteria, mould, algae, and fungi. It’s created exclusively with BPR-compliant active ingredients.

Microorganisms can lead to staining, hygiene problems, and material fatigue on artificial surfaces. The product combines various active ingredients to provide broad, antimicrobial-comprehensive protection through a singular additive.

The product offers a water-based form suitable for natural and nitrile rubber, latex, and various PU applications. For example, one application could be for polymer gloves manufactured using a dip process. The product’s compatibility with the OEKO-TEX label offers additional peace of mind in terms of skin tolerance. This is an important aspect for gloves in professional environments, such as in construction and trades, but also in households. Moreover, it is also significant when it comes to coatings for seating, such as those with artificial leather.

The product exclusively uses BPR-compliant active ingredients in order to comply with future regulations, making it suitable for the antimicrobial treatment of products for the European market.

The Broadtec product range offers additives in various dosage forms, which equip polymer products with protection against microbes.
