Agent and customers visit Bolton plant to undertake Factory Acceptance Test

Mach-Aire, the Bolton-based manufacturer of containment and aseptic isolators, recently hosted a visit to its factory from Young Sciences Inc (its South Korean agent), together with customers from LG Life Sciences, which are based just outside Seoul.

LG is a leading Korean pharmaceutical company, developing and producing a diverse array of treatments. The company made the visit to undertake a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on a sterility test isolator and vaporised hydrogen peroxide system, which is to be installed in its Quality Control laboratory on the Osong Campus.

The three days of tests at Mach-Aire allowed the end users to check the isolator functionality and to familiarise themselves with the complex control system prior to the installation and testing next month. Following this, full training will be given to all users by the Mach-Aire commissioning manager.
