The India-based company has completed the room, which has a reflection of visible light R< 5 % range and a reflection of IR of R< 8 %

UHP Technologies has completed the rebuild of an ISO Class 6 cleanroom with blackfilm used for the measurement of solar cell efficiency.

UHP picks up fewer cleanroom projects than others. But each project is an epitome in itself. "Recently we rebuilt a cleanroom of ISO Class 6 with blackfilm," explained Manjunath Jyothinagar, Managing Director for UHP. "The room has a reflection of visible light R< 5 % range and a reflection of IR of R< 8 %."

This room is used for the measurement of the solar cell efficiency in a dark room without the influence of light reflection

Jyothinagar went on to explain that there are only a couple of such cleanrooms in India. "This room is used for the measurement of the solar cell efficiency in a dark room without the influence of light reflection. The team at UHP Technologies successfully managed to meet customer expectations and hand over the project on 31st Dec 2022. [It] couldn't have been a better way to end last year with a new feather in our cap. Thank you team UHP and our partners in this project."
