UKAS calibration accreditation for PMT (GB) Ltd

First accreditation of its kind to be awarded for particle counter calibrations in the UK


PMT (GB) has achieved UKAS Accreditation for the calibration of particle counters at its Malvern-based laboratory.

The company is accredited in accordance with the recognised international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

This is the first accreditation of its kind to be awarded for particle counter calibrations in the UK.

“It has been a tough and long process to achieve this accreditation,” said Ian Norman, PMT (GB)’s Customer Service Manager, “but our whole team has worked very hard to satisfy the requirements of UKAS.”

Clients who use PMT (GB) can now have an even greater confidence in the competence and quality of the service provided.
