We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Print/Web Designer and Marketing Assistant to join our busy team in Newmarket, Suffolk. If you are creative, have a great eye for detail, are able to multitask and have a positive can-do attitude then this could be the opportunity for you.

The role will involve working on a wide range of customer-facing campaigns from web design and e-marketing, to traditional media advertising and marketing communications. You'll be involved in print design for ads and marketing materials, as well as a variety of web-based projects, creating and sending HTML emails, social media design support, preparing in-house presentations and visuals, and working with the Marketing Manager on events and photo shoots.

Tasks, duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with the Creative Director/Marketing Manager on design for advertisements & marketing materials (print & web)
  • Updating/editing existing artwork, adhering to brand guidelines
  • Creating and sending HTML emails
  • Social Media design support & updating
  • Preparing presentations & visuals
  • Providing support to the Marketing Manager for events and photoshoots
  • Maintaining product information for company website & datasheets
  • Performing other tasks as may be necessary for the smooth operation of the department and/or the company

Candidate requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Creative design experience
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Able to prepare files for printing
  • Experience of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Awareness of HTML would be advantageous

Basic salary plus annual bonus; medical care cover after 12 months
