Hygienic move with thin steel belt

Sandvik Process Systems promoted a super thin, stainless steel belt whose ease-of-cleaning, good wear and corrosion resistance, and in-line repairability are said to make it suitable for use in hygiene critical industries.

The 1700SA belt grade has high impact resistance and high thermal conductivity. This opens up opportunities for a wide range of freezing, cooling, drying and heating applications.
