Beat the zap with Exair blowoff station

Published: 15-Feb-2010

Exair’s static eliminating blowoff station, available in the UK exclusively through Good Hand UK in Milton Keynes, delivers a concentrated flow of ionised air to remove dust and other contaminants from a charged surface. It can be benchtop or machine mounted.

The device uses Exair’s Stay Set ion air jet to minimise compressed air use by inducing surrounding airflow at a ratio of 5:1. This focused airstream directs the static eliminating ions to the targeted surface, getting rid of the charge in less than half a second. A flexible hose that holds its position keeps the airflow aimed at a specific spot until physically bent or moved. The magnetic base allows easy mounting and includes a shutoff valve for flexible control of force and flow.

The blowoff station includes a power supply listed to recognised safety standards, two 3m compressed air hoses and a foot pedal valve for hands-free operation. Applications include cleaning products, containers and removing contaminants from parts prior to surface coating, painting, screenprinting or inkjet printing.

Good Hand UK is a distributor of toggle clamps, Exair air products, Misati pneumatic clamps and the Kipp series of plastic knobs and engineering components.
