Terra Universal manufactures storage cabinets for cleanroom garments and lab supplies or tools out of the same clean powder-coated steel it uses for benches, workstations and the modular cleanrooms themselves. Cabinets are available with laminar flow HEPA filtration for critical items that either generate particles or need to stay particle free. An air outlet at the bottom of the storage cabinet discharges particle-laden air.
Cabinets can be configured for hanging garments, packaged/stacked garments, or both. Adjustable shelving comes solid, or perforated so as not to interfere with laminar air. Single or double doors offer easy access to contents. Doors are made of clear, economical acrylic, or static-dissipative PVC that prevents build-up of damaging electro-static discharge. The overlapping doors have self-closing hinges for secure closure.
Cabinets without a fan/filter unit benefit from additional storage in the empty, overhead compartment, which features a swing-up door using a chrome-plated handle.
