VDI-Expert forum on risk management of non-medical devices in high care areas

Taking place at the Düsseldorf Maritim Hotel, this Forum considers the need for more standards regarding non-regulated devices, such as mobile devices with touchscreens, smartphones and tablets, and similar products used in a medical setting that are not currently easy to sterilise.

The Forum will address infection prevention through hygiene-optimised design, antimicrobial features and surfaces, and standardisation of validated treatment processes.

Representatives from the German Society for Hospital Hygiene (DGKH) and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) will take part.
