Telstar has expanded production capacity with a larger, more modern facility, to better serve the Asia-Pacific region

Telstar’s centre in China has expanded its production capacity with a move to a new premises in the district of Lingang, in Shanghai.

The move is to a large modern facility that enables it to support an increasing global customer base.

Telstar’s new premises 

The new modern industrial site has a total surface area of 5,200 sqm with more than 80% of the space is intended for a production workshop.

Telstar’s centre in China supplies freeze-drying equipment integrated with automatic loading and unloading systems for the international life sciences market and particularly for the Asia-Pacific region’s pharmaceutical sector. 

The Telstar brand is now represented in Asia-Pacific region by three specialised production plants and engineering centres in China, Bangladesh, and India.

In addition, Telstar is also dedicated to the development of equipment for laboratories, as well as offering a support service in the development & improvement of recipes and test samples before the production process.

The China branch also provides local assistance to its customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The history of Telstar in China

The specialist design and manufacturer of processing equipment was first established in China in 1998.

Since its foundation, the company in China has been continually expanding its resources to support equipment projects and after-sales services, undertaking the direct management of the complete process of project management of equipment manufactured in China with its own professional staff.
