Alsicare range designed specifically with hospital staff in mind

UK-based Alsico, a leading work garment supplier, has launched a range of garments specifically developed to meet the unique requirements of the health and care sectors. The new Alsico range of healthcare clothing includes medical scrubs, lab coats, tunics, dresses and trousers.

Designed with hospital staff in mind, the range is also ideal for care and nursing home staff, vets and scientists. The full range of clothing has undergone extensive development and testing.

“Performance is nowhere more important than in the healthcare sector. Requirements are very specific,” says David Toon managing director of Alsico. “Designing clothing for the healthcare sector meant paying particular attention to the environment. Performance, in and out of the hospital laundry, is critical and so is comfort. But style and value matter too.”

Some of the garments incorporate Alsico’s A-Move System, which incorporates special panels into clothing where they are needed most – across the back and under arms. This increases freedom of movement and keeps the wearer cooler.
