New building includes an expanded Class 10,000 cleanroom for manufacturing single-use sensors

Finesse Solutions, a US manufacturer of measurement and control solutions for bioprocess applications, has moved to a new facility in Santa Clara, CA. The firm continues to maintain a calibration services facility in Irwindale, CA and sales offices in Switzerland and Singapore.

The new building, which exceeds 3,250m2, features an expanded Class 10,000 cleanroom for the manufacture of Finesse single-use sensors, significant floor space for assembling and integrating single use bioreactor systems up to 2,000L, and areas outfitted for factory acceptance testing. Additionally, an expanded space has been allocated for research and development, to allow Finesse to expand its product offerings to manufacturers of biologics.

‘Over the course of the last three years, Finesse has tripled its revenue and expanded its business from large-scale single-use cGMP systems to flexible laboratory bioreactor controllers,’ said Barbara Paldus, CEO at Finesse.

‘We are pleased to announce that our new facility provides the capacity required to meet the ever-increasing demand for our growing family of products.’

The Finesse portfolio includes disposable sensors, modular configure-to-order automation hardware, and intelligent software that can link global bioprocess information and technology transfer.

Finesse also offers a complete set of services including start-up, commissioning, and validation for rapid and reliable deployment of single-use equipment into cGMP manufacturing applications.
