Guardtech Cleanrooms carried out jobs across the UK and beyond in 2021, starting with the construction of seven ISO5 cleanrooms in Hull, across 600 sqm, for diagnostics reagent manufacturing to help the fight against COVID-19.
That project took place alongside a 470 sqm ISO8 build in Mullingar, Ireland, and the company returned north of England soon after to produce a 150 sqm ISO8 cleanroom in Goole, before heading back down the country to Somerset to complete a 20sqm ISO8 build.
The team tackled a double ISO6 ISOPOD build for a medical device manufacturer in Cambridge, while the summer saw a series of CleanCube portable laboratory conversions for COVID-19 PCR testing, as well as a 200 sqm ISO9 modular build in Daventry and an 80 sqm ISO5 semiconductor cleanroom project for Storvik Limited.
The busy 12 months ended with two 30 sqm ISO7 projects in Salford and Cardiff – one client produces medical device equipment for the cell & gene therapy market and the latter manufactures components in outer space.
Finally, the cleanroom firm is currently close to completion on a 150 sqm Grade D modular cleanroom in Sevenoaks and making progress on a 400 sqm Grade C project for Cell & Gene Therapy in Cambridge.
