CoCEPTIO, Jansen Group, and Close have been making progress on a cleanroom for pharmaceutical CDMO, White Raven, in Belgium.
"We are happy with the significant progress that has been achieved," White Raven stated on LinkedIn in an update on the project's progress.
The project is currently in "step 1", which has seen the construction of the superstructure and site preparation.
"[The superstructure acts] as the backbone of our cleanroom and [ensures] a controlled environment while providing easy maintenance access and preserving the integrity of our design," the company explained.
Site preparation entailed looking at the strict contamination control standards that will need to be in place for this project. This includes clearing and levelling the ground, establishing utility connections, and implementing environmental controls. "
" Structural modifications, such as reinforced flooring and walls, are in progress to ensure a strong foundation," the company added.
