Bucketless floor mop features built-in tank

Contec's new EasySat Bucketless floor mop, which has been designed specifically for the cleanroom, has a built-in solution tank, eliminating the need for a bucket and wringer. It is also fully autoclavable.

The mop features a head constructed from the same material as the company's VertiKlean mops – durable polyester fabric is laser cut and laminated to clean ester foam without the use of glues or adhesives, "providing excellent abrasion resistance". The angled mop head is said to be able to clean hard-to-reach areas and can be attached and removed within seconds. A choice of heads is available – textured for more abrasive action or flat for standard floor cleaning. Both versions are available Validated Sterile per AAMI/ISO 11137 Method 1 Guidelines. The solvent or solution is poured into the translucent tank. The operator then pushes down on the handle and the mop is ready to clean up to 5000ft2. Push-button flow controls the release of cleaning solution on demand and 16 jets ensure that the solution is evenly dispensed across the entire mop head. Contec says the large opening makes the solution tank easy to fill, while the snug-fitting lid minimises exposure to chemicals.
