We are now proud to announce that our own climate targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), marking a significant step forward in our sustainability journey.
This milestone is accompanied by two other major achievements: becoming a Certified B Corporation and receiving a medal from EcoVadis in recognition of our sustainability performance. Together, these accomplishments demonstrate that we are not only advising others to take action but also actively committing to creating a sustainable future.
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approval
Our most recent success marks a significant milestone, with our commitments having been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
This achievement reinforces our message of leading the global effort to combat climate change. By aligning our targets with the SBTi’s goal of limiting global warming, we are taking the steps to create a more sustainable economy.
Similar to our approach, the SBTi framework enables us to translate complex client challenges into clear, actionable strategies that drive measurable reductions, providing a validated, science-based roadmap that aligns with international best practices.
At EECO2, we’ve committed to reducing scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2024 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions. EECO2 commits to reach net zero by 2035. As part of this, we commit to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions 95% by 2035 from a 2024 base year.

Becoming a Certified B Corporation marks another defining moment in our sustainability journey. This globally recognised certification reflects our dedication to environmental responsibility, social impact, transparency, and ethical governance.

EcoVadis sustainability rating
Our sustainability practices have also been recognised by EcoVadis, a global platform that assesses sustainability performance. Ranking in the top 35% of companies in our category, this achievement highlights our progress in key areas, including environmental management, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
