Cleanroom industry expert John Neiger has passed away.
A huge name and influence in the sector, Neiger founded cleanroom containment specialist Envair in 1972 and led the company for 32 years.
Neiger was a leading expert in the field of clean air and containment and a member of the British Standards Committee for Microbiological Safety Cabinets for 40 years.
In addition, the former Envair Chairman spent many years as a technical writer and Editor of Clean Air and Containment Review.
Cleanroom Technology Editor, Sophie Bullimore, said: "John was always such a positive energy and had a contagious passion for the sector."
Cleanroom Technology Head of Sales, Brian Lubieniecki-Heyburn, said: "John Neiger was a valued partner of Cleanroom Technology over many years, and we are incredibly sad to hear of his passing."
