Gerbig moves to larger premises
Promotes Kimberly Robertson to president of the Minnesota-based firm
The firm has also promoted Kimberly Robertson to the post of president. She has been with Gerbig Engineering for the past eight years and has held a variety of design and management positions. She has been general manager since 2008.
Robertson said the larger space would enable the company to serve its customers better by streamlining production and carrying more stock items.
The new site provides expanded production, warehouse and office areas. A laboratory area for cleanroom environmental monitoring with space for a future cleanroom products testing lab is also included.
The firm says it will be able to stock more cleanroom components including HEPA fan filters, as well as AireCell modular cleanroom construction components, plus aluminum structural framework profiles and wall panels in the new facility.
“Our business will be more efficient for production and have increased capabilities for new product development, testing and to serve our customers’ special needs,” added Fred Gerbig, owner of Gerbig Engineering.
