Labworks International opens US office to expand cleanroom support in North America

Canada-based Labworks has opened its new office in North Carolina to reinforce its commitment to supporting local customers

Labworks International has expanded its presence in the United States. Labworks International is an expert group of professional engineers, constructors and manufacturers of environmental room solutions.

Headquartered with manufacturing facilities in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, Labworks provides turn-key solutions throughout North America and is now opening its new US office to support these operations.

"We are pleased to announce the highly anticipated opening of our new office in Morrisville, North Carolina," the company stated in an announcement.

The company's new US address will be Zaytoun 54 Center, 10404 Chapel Hill Road, Suite 100, Morrisville, North Carolina, 27560, USA.

"This reinforces our commitment to supporting our customers in the local area and abroad. Labworks International new office also includes some warehouse space for staging of material for our critical projects."

Ongoing projects

Labworks International Inc. is currently completing the final installation stages of a 58,000 sqft cleanroom for a major international vaccine manufacturer, with a plant located in Canada.

The project also included numerous egg-warming and egg-rapid-cooling systems for the manufacturing process.

"We also provided custom-controlled environments for other stages of the process, requiring precision temperature storage for the inoculants used in the manufacturing process," Labworks stated. "This reinforces our company's ability to complete large custom complex projects on time and on budget."

For the project, Labworks utilised all available BIM modelling software tools and some CFD modelling to accurately calculate airflow distribution, and coordination of the pre-cutting of cleanroom panels at its factory in Barrie. "[This] was extremely advantageous to keeping the project moving along swiftly," Labworks stated. "The quality is extremely high and the client and contractor are very pleased with our progress and ability to deliver such a sophisticated project on time."
