Our Climate
- Achieved a 31% reduction in carbon emissions compared to the 2021 baseline.
- Transitioned the transport fleet to hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), cutting fleet emissions by up to 90%.
- Generated 171,335 kWh of renewable electricity through rooftop solar panels.
- Invested £300,000 in state-of-the-art washing machines to improve energy efficiency and capacity.
Our Circular Economy
- Partnered with Avena to recycle approximately 184,000 garments annually, diverting them from landfill and repurposing them as loft insulation.
- Recycled 59% of total waste (132.5 tonnes of 223.2 tonnes generated).
- Trained 39 employees in waste management.
Our People & Communities
- Supported local initiatives, including Skegness PRIDE and blood donation drives.
- Hosted work experience programmes and the annual Family Fun Day for employees and their families.
- Promoted two Associate Directors (Stella Yates and Sophie Harris) to the Board, reflecting Micronclean’s commitment to diversity and succession planning
