Polar Cleanroom Systems has officially launched, entering the cleanroom sector with a focus on modular controlled environments and turnkey project delivery for regulated industries.
Founded by Lars Strandljung, the company brings deep industry experience and engineering know-how to deliver solutions for pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.
“We had been developing the vision for Polar Cleanroom Systems for several years, drawing on decades of industry experience and established supplier networks,” the founder and CEO told Cleanroom Technology.
“Once the final decision was made, we were fully operational within just two months. This was possible thanks to the deep-rooted expertise and the professional connections our team has cultivated over the years.”
What does the company offer?
Polar Cleanroom Systems offers a wide range of turnkey cleanroom solutions, including modular environments and specialised shipping container cleanrooms designed for rapid or remote deployment.
Strandljung said the primary focus of the newly launched company is on the Nordic and Baltic regions, with intentions to expand across Europe.
The founder also said that the company will aim to establish a presence in Africa, particularly Kenya, by leveraging significant existing networks.
Partnership with Faster Air
Polar Cleanroom Systems has formalised a strategic collaboration with Faster Air, a major manufacturer of clean air and containment technology.
Faster Air brings advanced airflow and filtration systems into Polar’s turnkey cleanroom projects.
“Polar Cleanroom Systems is now the official Faster dealer in Sweden and Denmark, but our collaboration goes far beyond that. We integrate Faster’s high-end solutions into turnkey cleanroom projects worldwide,” said Strandljung.“The relationship with Faster has existed at a foundational level for many years,” he added.
The partnership gives Polar Cleanroom the ability to deliver highly specialised controlled environments, combining strict contamination control with efficiency and sustainability.
“One of the primary challenges in modern cleanroom development is balancing strict energy efficiency with uncompromising safety,” Strandljung explained.
“Faster’s high-end products and capability for bespoke equipment are vital additions to our offerings. This allows us to meet highly specific client requirements and sustainability goals that standard solutions cannot address, regardless of the project's location.”
By leveraging Faster Air’s cutting-edge technologies, Polar Cleanroom can offer modular and containerised solutions capable of rapid deployment.
This means that industries, from pharmaceuticals to advanced manufacturing, can access state-of-the-art cleanroom environments anywhere in the world.
The launch of Polar Cleanroom Systems comes amid increasing demand for controlled manufacturing environments worldwide as life sciences production and high-precision technologies continue to expand.
