FPS Food and Pharma Systems, a leader the design, manufacture and installation of fine size reduction machines for micronising and containment solutions for sterile and/or highly potent APIs, has announced plans to enlarge its plant in Fiorenzuola d’Arda.
The new facility will enable an important improvement in production process management and provide a significant increase in production capacity.
The new facility will be adjacent to the current site and will house a 3000m2 covered and 3000m2 uncovered area; it will be mainly dedicated to the assembly and testing of the company's systems, while another area will be dedicated to the assembly execution and storage of mock-ups.
It will also include a cafeteria, and a training area where technical workshops will be held in 2017.
The site was recently enlarged and modernised with offices and an R&D test center, to adapt to the needs of the steadily growing company.
'It has only been a few months since the inauguration of the new area dedicated to the R&D and the Test Center but steady development has made it necessary to now plan new works to strengthen the logistics structure for the future,' said Carlo Corsini - Vice President and Technical Manager.
'With the increase in production capacity at the Fiorenzuola d'Arda Plant, FPS renews its commitment to the improvement and development of micronisation and fine grinding systems as well as containment solutions,' said the President, Eng. Giovanni Gianola.
'We are proud of Italian excellence; we can confirm the current employment level and showcase the new factory which will allow us to be more competitive than ever to the benefit of our customers.'
