Belgium-based Group Jansen has acquired Netherlands-based laboratory furniture company Vinitex to merge with Jansen Cleanrooms

Group Jansen has acquired the Dutch laboratory furniture company Vinitex.

“This is a new step in our international growth ambitions,” said CEO Nadia Jansen. “By intensively diversifying, innovating and exploring niches, we continue to build a sustainable future for our group, our 735 employees and our customers.”

Unique market position

The CEO of Group Jansen sees Vinitex as a complementary partner. This specialist in the design, production and installation of laboratory furniture is the ideal addition to Jansen Cleanrooms, a niche company of Group Jansen.

“Vinitex is an established value in the laboratory equipment market segment, in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. In the past, we have already worked together constructively on various projects. Through this acquisition, we are now further expanding our portfolio of projects and products,” explained Nadia. Both Jansen Cleanrooms and Vinitex want to strengthen and expand their unique market position with this new collaboration.

Win-win

The fact that Jansen Cleanrooms and Vinitex share more than just their professional expertise only makes the story of the future even stronger. “We are both family businesses with a similar DNA, the same business model and an absolute belief in the strength and knowledge of our own people . We are therefore convinced that the acquisition is a win-win in all areas”, Nadia said.

Both Mark and Nicole Raaijmakers, the former owners of Vinitex, will remain on board and in their roles as Technical and Commercial Director respectively. Eric Vanhees, as the current COO of Jansen Cleanrooms, takes the activities and team of Vinitex under his wing.

“I look forward to further expanding this wonderful company,” added Vanhees. “From January we will bring Vinitex and Jansen Cleanrooms together under the name Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs. Of course, we will not just abandon the name Vinitex, which is an absolute concept in the laboratory world. Vinitex will continue to exist as a brand name."

"With Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs, as a high-performance total partner, we can offer the end user in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany a turnkey formula. This new cooperation structure is such a good example of sustainable growth, which benefits both companies, their employees and their customers,” Vanhees concluded.
