Insulet chooses Medhini to oversee cleanroom facility development

Medical device company Insulet Corporation has chosen Medhini for its masterplan development, man-material flows, cleanroom design, selection and management of the cleanroom D&B contractor

Medhini Group has been chosen to support medical device company Insulet Corporation with its masterplan development, man-material flows, cleanroom design, selection and management of the cleanroom D&B contractor.

Insulet is transforming the economic and physical landscape in Malaysia with the construction of a new manufacturing facility. On June 2, the company hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 400,000 sqft manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The architectural design includes sustainable elements that qualify for Green Building Initiative (GBI) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

This new Malaysian factory will help support our fast-paced growth, robust innovation pipeline, and global expansion

The engineering and construction consultancy said it will continue to support this project in Malaysia until its commissioning and planned production start up in 2023.
