On Thursday 18 September 2014, delegates from international pharmaceutical groups will learn about new technologies and how to optimise their manufacturing process of polymeric microsphere drug delivery devices in an aseptic environment, from R&D to large scale production at the Microsphere Formulation Summit in Liverpool, UK.
Craig Patrizio from CP Process Solutions will present a case study on ‘Evolution of Microsphere Processes to Production: a case study of innovation and development’. He has 20 years’ experience in biotech/pharmaceutical process development and will be available for 1-2-1 meetings throughout the afternoon.
During the afternoon workshops, delegates will be able to see full scale production equipment and also process development with R&D microencapsulation system, filtration and drying for lab scale and particle size analysing. To complete the day, suppliers of sterile powder filling systems and disinfection technologies will be available for 1-2-1 meetings to discuss current projects directly with industry professionals.
